Airtel Uganda offers 2G, 3G, and 4G voice and data services to over 10 million subscribers across Uganda. As an airtime dealer, you'll sell physical or electronic Airtel airtime to individuals and businesses using an approved dealer channel, leveraging Airtel's extensive network of over 2,000 masts across the country.
How to get started
- Register with Airtel or an authorized airtime distributor and complete the required verification.
- Choose a sales location or delivery model and arrange a phone, point-of-sale device, or approved digital channel.
- Fund your dealer account or purchase approved stock, then learn the top-up and reconciliation process.
- Keep transaction records, protect your PINs, and reconcile sales and balances every day.
Commissions and profits
Dealer commission is generally a percentage or fixed amount per eligible sale. The exact rate depends on your market, channel, volume, promotions, and distributor agreement.
Estimate net profit by multiplying expected sales by the official commission, then subtracting connectivity, transport, staff, rent, taxes, and transaction losses. Ask Airtel or your distributor for the current rate card; the figures and returns are not guaranteed.
